Run For Charity
The Fittest in Australia are Bringing The Iconic Aussie Red & Yellow to The Games
The Bay Games charity Fun Run 2019 will be on Saturday 9th November!
And this year’s Fun Run will be one with a difference… By adopting the iconic Red & Yellow colours of the Surf Rescuers around Australia, all those taking part will have the chance to get creative. Whether it’s running in a yellow pair of togs, a red pair of trainers or full body paint; there will be a prize for the ‘best dressed’ in all things red and yellow!
It consists of 3 different distances; 2km, 5km & 10km, all starting and finishing at Event HQ in White-sands Park, Huskisson. You don’t need to decide right now which distance you’ll run – you can decide on the day!!
There will be water stations along the 5+km course and all finishers receive both a Bay Games wrist band AND medal!
All profits from the Fun Run will go directly to the local Surf Lifesaving Club!
Brad Lilly, Club Captain from Nowra Culburra SLSC says;
“As 2018 competitors and Shoalhaven locals we appreciate becoming part of this premier event. The monies raised will go directly towards buying and maintaining vital life saving equipment that help keep our communities safe whilst they’re enjoying the beaches”.
Nothing is more Aussie than this – tell your family and mates, get involved! Registrations are open!!
