Judges Application

Awesome – thanks for your interest in joining the team here at The Bay Games!

The role of the Judges is solely focused on assessing athletes as they execute the workouts; ensuring that the movement standards and rep counts are completed correctly. Please read the below requirements for the Judging team before applying.

Completion of this registration process does not guarantee selection as a Judge – this occurs only after you receive official written notification from Games HQ.

Date/Time:

Saturday 1st of April 2023 – Sydney International Regatta Centre – Penrith

• 1000 – 1200 hours – onsite training with Alethea Boon
• 1200 – 2000 hours – The Bay Games Metro Competition 

Prerequisites:

• To ensure a base level of certified competency for our Judges it is mandatory for all Judges to have successfully completed the CrossFit Judges Course – this costs just $10 USD and is a pretty awesome investment in your athlete journey
• There will be a mandatory Judges briefing/training session (online) a couple of weeks out from the event – this will be a live 90 minute session

What do Judges get?

To say thanks for being a legend, Judges receive the following:

• 1 x exclusive TBG23 Officials t-shirt by Unbroken! 
• 2 x food vouchers to be used at the event vendors 
• 1 x invitation to join a 5 week, online productivity and peak performance program (Level Up) worth $700

When selecting event Judges…

We will also consider the following:

• Experience and attendance at other live sports events, seminars, and certifications
• Agreement to communicate (group) via Messenger (mandatory)
• Availability to Judge for the entire day
