Whilst you can find the details of each workout HERE, we wanted to provide an easy reference point for each workout in-line with what we share in our weekly email. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can receive these updates straight to your inbox (first!).

This workout replaced the planned ‘What SUP’ physical Bay Games workout. This adapted workout stays true to the testing philosophy that was originally intended.

Now in terms of ‘strategy’ there is not too much to consider (compared to the teams version of this workout) but… there are at least a couple of things to think about:

  1. Your tie break time will be recorded as the time taken to complete the first round of burpee-over-rower – how hard to push?!
  2. Then you have to think about how to approach the endurance element of this workout – the rowing… It’s a really personal subject of course; do you go out hard and then settle into a rhythm? Do you start steady and build throughout the row? Or, do you pick a pace and then ‘set & forget’? We can only suggest you practice to find out what works best for you.

Naturally, hydration and nutrition will play an important role in the story too. It always does!

Teams; Importantly, only 1 rower and 1 plyo-box are permitted. This leads to the most obvious conclusion that the boys and girls from mixed teams split up into buddy pairs. We decided to mandate this equipment list to ensure our online Judges can accurately fulfil their roles, fairly.
